The Second Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University is a national large-scale three-level general hospital gathering medical, teaching, research, prevention and health care as one.
There are 1300 open beds , with an outpatient amount of about one million per year, 35000 patients treated in hospital yearly, and is in more than 1.2 million surgical volume. Having modern medical equipments worth of more than 300 million Yuan, there are 54 clinical, medical technical departments. It has 25 doctorate points, 31 master's degree points, and clinical post-doctoral mobile stations; the existing in-service professor, associate professor comprised of more than 300 people, including doctors and master's instructors exceeding 140. There are a number of extremely talented in the first and second-level candidates from the national plan “millions of”, also including winners of National Outstanding Youth Fund, the state of middle-aged and young experts with outstanding contributions, and there are 20 winners from the State Council's "special government allowances,".

 

Chongqing Three Gorges Central Hospital

This hospital was built in 1929, after 80 years of development, it has become one of three large-scale integrated-level hospitals with a combine of medical, teaching, research, prevention, and health care. It takes the health care tasks of 23 districts and counties of the 16 million populations around the Three Gorges reservoir area, with an outpatient amount of 1.35 million each year, and 44500 patients discharged from the hospital yearly.

Ministry of Health identifies this hospital as an "International SOS network hospital," "designated hospital of China for polio correction", and "designated hospital of China for cataract correction." It was also identified as the “International Smile Train hospitals." It successively won the "National Excellent Hospital", "advanced national health system," "National Model Hospital trusted by the people" and over 30 honors above the provincial level.
Chongqing Second People's Hospital

The Chongqing Second People's Hospital is one of the country three-level general hospitals combined of medical, first aid, teaching and research. The Chongqing Yongchuan Medical Center Emergency branch is set up in this hospital, it is the Central Hospital of the western region of Chongqing designated by the Chongqing Health department, the designated international emergency center network hospital by Ministry of Health, the standard general practitioners training base by Ministry of Health, and it’s the Chongqing sexually transmitted diseases’ prevention and control center of the western regions of Chongqing. The Chongqing Second People’s Hospital is also responsible for radiation medical services of Yongchuan and the surrounding five counties of the Third District, southeast of Sichuan, northwest of Guizhou, and other places including more than 1,000 million people, at the same time taking the Chongqing Medical University, Luzhou Medical College, Chongqing Pharmaceutical College, and other eight colleges’ students clinical teaching and practice of the teaching task.

The Third Affiliated Hospital of Zhongshan University was founded in 1971, is a large general hospital committed to preventive health care, medical care, rehabilitation and medical education and research tasks, it is identified as the first-class hospital by the Ministry of Health, a national Baby Friendly Hospital, and a Guangdong Provincial civilized Hospital.
